Apple has announced the launch date for its mixed reality headset "Vision Pro". The expensive data glasses product is set to be launched on February 2. Pre-orders for the device, which costs 3,499 US dollars in the basic version, will be accepted from the early hours of January 20. At launch, the data glasses will be available online and in local Apple stores in the USA.
It is not yet known when the device will be available in Germany, and Apple has not yet published the prices for the German market. However, market observers assume that the product could be launched in Germany towards the end of this year.
The scope of delivery of the data glasses includes two headbands to adapt to the shape and size of the user's head. In addition, two light-sealing pads, a cover for the front of the "Vision Pro", a polishing cloth, a battery, a USB-C charging cable and a USB-C power adapter are also included.
Alongside the release of the glasses, Apple is planning to launch its own app store, where users will be able to download a variety of applications for the device at launch.
